I’m giving this 4 stars because of the weight of the toy. I was not expecting it to be as heavy as it is. That’s a good thing. My 6 month old puppy hasn’t tried it yet. It may be too tough on her young teeth, but I’m sure she will LOVE it.

I have never seen our golden doodle go after a toy so quickly! It is very thick, pretty heavy, and looks like will last a while (he’s an aggressive chewer and destroys toys pretty quickly). At first there is really no beef scent but about 15 minutes into constantly chewing and scratching it a bit, it seems to release the beef smell. So just an FYI- you may want to present it as an outside toy if you don’t want your house smelling that way. It already looks like a new favorite for him. Excited to see how long the toy lasts.

Was excited to try this toy, and it felt good quality. However our labradoodle pup chewed off and swallowed one of the legs in less than half an hour, with the talk also looking pretty rough. Our dog is pretty rough on toys but had hoped that this one would be stronger than most, who knew a labradoodle could out-chew the hardcore chew toys?!
