Does not hit the neck AT ALL. Fine for the shoulders but that’s not what I bought it for. The massage nodules literally massage air when you bring it up to hit your necks. I have an older model from this same company that is PERFECT for the sides of the neck and works great when I’m reclining on my bed. But this newer model doesn’t hit the shoulders unless you’re sitting straight up. So disappointing.

Highly recommend. Works really well to get those tough knots out of your system. I use it everytime after coming back from a festival & just recently used it again. Better than using a theragun due to the massaging components instead of the rapid back and forth motion. The heating component & 3 level choices are also awesome!

This is an amazing product and has helped reduce my neck pain. It is comfortable to wear, and use it when relaxing in from of the TV. The heating works well, it does not get hot, rather a little warm. The power cord could be a little longer but it is a very good massager, and i have bought a few over the years

Best 40 bucks I’ve ever spent! Ever since shoulder surgery a few years ago, I’ve suffered with upper thoracic, shoulder, and neck pain. Professional massage works best, but I can’t afford it on a regular basis. I’ve had this thing for months now, and it’s been wonderful for my shoulders and neck. I just hold on to the straps and move it around where I need it, adjusting the pressure applied to more painful areas. It took a few minutes to realize there is a pause between cycles, when it switches direction. So, don’t freak out, it’s not broken. It also took me until my current injury, a severe lower back strain, to realize that the three settings are not just about the speed or strength of the massage, but it seems to also have different patterns. I saw my doctor, and took cyclobenzaprine, ibuprofen, and acetaminophen, which worked. However, as soon as the meds wore off, I was just as immobile as before. It wasn’t until the 2nd day, when I started to use this by sitting in my office chair with it propped behind me, that I began to notice improvement. I start mid back and then gradually adjust it downward over 20 minutes, all the way down to my butt. Mobility and pain have improved drastically, even when medicine wears off. Warning, though, it’s a “hurt so good” massage, and will leave you feeling bruised, as if done by a pro, if you have an injury. I ice my back afterward, which helps.

From reading the other reviews I was really worried this product was going to break after a couple of uses but it’s been going strong! It really is a great alternative to an actual massage and I love using this when taking a break from work. The intensity of the massage is perfect for me and it’s versatile so you can move it around your body and work on the areas that you need. I can’t speak for pain relief but for normal use I love it! I think it it’s good value for money.
