I am really impressed with these toys! They’re super cute and hold up well for my 11lb aggressive chewer! He likes to fetch these, play tug-o-war, and he likes to quite literally saw them with his teeth (he also has bones/antlers/bully sticks every now and then, but he definitely prefers doing this to toys, mostly dragons…) – it’s interesting, I’ve never had a dog do this before, but other toys have not lasted us anywhere near as long as these have. Also, when he does finally saw off a tail, for example, there isn’t fluff everywhere – love that! It’s not necessarily from a protective guard lining on the inside (I don’t think these have that), but it seems the softness of these has deterred him somewhat from doing the sawing as much as with other toys. I say this because they have lasted a long time for us! I got them in December of 2024 and have only given him one at a time (until recently), and now we’re “down” to our last 2, so I’ll likely be ordering them again in December 2025 – We’ve never had any other toy pack last us an entire year before!
This said, I’m talking about a little Chorkie. If you have an aggressive chewing big dog, I wouldn’t recommend these at all, stick with Kong 🙂 If your big dog is a cuddler, though, these are lovely 🙂
