I loved how cheap this product was, but the fact it is ADA accepted and came with multiple heads is what sold me. The downside is it is a more forceful toothbrush for me in a sense. The bristles are super soft, but the vibration is very intense and loud. I took it out of my mouth while on by accident and got toothpaste all over the bathroom and myself included. The charge lasts a very long time which is efficient. Plus it comes with a carrying case and you can easily disassemble it compared to some other toothbrushes I have owned similarly.

I have been a Sonicare user for decades. I decided to switch when Sonicare claimed it couldn’t find my registration, so it wouldn’t honor its warranty.
The AcquaSonic looks exactly like the Sonicare Diamond Clean, but costs one-fifth of the price ($36.95 on Amazon vs. $198.95). Incidentally, the “motor” in the Diamond Clean is identical to less-expensive Sonicare models. It only performs better because of the brush, which fits on the AquaSonic.
I have no idea how long the AquaSonic will last, but it has a 13 month warranty vs. two and a half years for Sonicare, if you register the purchase. So I can replace the Aquasonic and it would still cost less. Based on my experience with Sonicare, the wand will only stop working when the lithium battery dies or if you drop it on the floor. On the negative side, it isn’t clear how you contact Beauty Imports (the seller of AquaSonic) if there is a problem while Sonicare’s customer service (except for losing my registration) has been exceptional.
Addendum: Now that I have owned the AquaSonic for a few months, I can report that the brushing seems to be as effective as with a Sonicare (what counts is the brush, not the wand). On the plus side, I have been getting an incredible 60 two-minute brushes per charge (two a day for thirty days), more than twice my experience with Sonicare, suggesting that the battery will last longer. On the minus side, the timer stopped working after one week. Amazon eventually figured out how to fix the problem (Amazon handles tech support calls, but the rep doesn’t specialize in AquaSonic — she has to look up the answer). In case you have the same issue, just press the “on” button for 20 seconds, the same solution needed when Sonicare has this problem.
The Aquacare seems to clean just as well as Sonicare, is slightly (0.6 ounces) lighter, has a battery that lasts twice as long (four weeks versus two), and comes with more brushes (eight one). Sonicare comes with a pressure sensor, which I think is a solution in search of a problem.
The average AquaSonic review on Amazon (4.7 stars) is better than the $69.95 Sonicare 4100 (4.3 stars), with the bad reviews criticizing the electric toothbrush experience, the brush heads cracking, or the battery failing. The last two items are covered by warranty. If Beauty Imports isn’t responsive, contact Amazon, which has incredibly good customer service.

Update review: So far the unit is still working great. No issues since using December 2023; the charge is still good and last at least 3 weeks or more before re-charging. There were some reviews that people have shown their brush heads cracked. Not sure if their biting on the heads or pressing too hard which you shouldn’t, but l have no issues with the ones l used. ********************************************************************************************** I have been a Braun user for a very long time but in recent years l felt that the product quality has gotten worst and units seem to only last no more than 2-3 years before the battery doesn’t hold its charge, as well their brush heads are expensive to replace. So decided to look into the Sonic brand as l heard it had some good things about it but the cost was quite high too. Then l found the AquaSonic series and after reading reviews and doing some other research l decided to go with it. As for warranty, there was no mention of it, but most manufactures only offer a 1 year warranty and usually nothing really goes wrong with it. After 2 months of use l am not disappointment in making that decision. Keep in mind this is not a rotating brush unit like the Braun units, it is a vibrating function like the Sonic. Having used a rotating brush for most of the time it did take a little time to adjust on the vibrating motion. Comparing apples to apples with the other major brands, this one beats all. Price point, 8 extra brush heads, carry case, no extra charge for black color, 4 modes, timer and unit is light to hold, you cannot ask for anything better. If this unit last 2-3 years your still ahead of the other more expensive brands on the market. I will just have to wait and see how long the battery last. If this price point stays like this for some years l would purchase again.

I love the lightweight yet sturdy feel of this unit. It is sleek and comfortable to hold and very easy to use. It comes with very thorough, easy to read instructions (not translated from another language.) As others have stated, it comes fully charged right out of the box. The unboxing experience was top notch as well. Very carefully and thoughtfully packed making me feel like it was worth so much more than what I paid for it. I used it for the first time last night and It was incredible. I replaced my previous unit that I had for YEARS of another very top named brand of ultrasonic toothbrush, and was amazed after I used this that my teeth felt cleaner than they had in a very long time. I love that it came with so many replacement brush heads, and they had different color bands so you could share the unit with someone else in your home. If I could give this ten stars I would. Don’t pay more. Buy this if you’re thinking about it. I also got a bundle discount when buying it with the same brand water flosser.

I love this toothbrush! I got a sale number one, it has 4 different modes and seems to have more brush strokes than my old Phillips, it came with a travel case and 5 replacement heads, and you only leave it on the charger once a day at night. My old Phillips started beeping every 2 seconds and was driving me crazy. I will not buy any other at this point.

I almost never write reviews but had to take the time with this electric toothbrush! I’ve used Phillips Sonicare since 2010 and when the last one started making an alarmingly odd sound a couple weeks ago I knew it was time to replace. I was planning to get the same one when I saw the Aquasonic as a suggestion on Amazon. I noticed that it had over 100k reviews so started reading and figured I’d give it a shot because it was half the price, with 8 toothbrush heads (!!!) and excellent reviews! I’ve only had the toothbrush for a little over a week but I have to say that it’s THE BEST toothbrush I’ve ever used! It’s extremely effective, yet gentle. I didn’t realize how harsh the Philips Sonicare was on my teeth and gums until this toothbrush. My teeth have never been so clean, I can easily reach the back wisdom teeth (i still have them in my 40’s), and my gums don’t feel as sensitive! If you’re nervous about switching, I’d say to 100% do it! You won’t regret it!
